If a clip on Crowd Video uses your copyrighted work without permission, tell us and we'll take it down. Altura Media LLC follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512).
Our copyright agent
Use the form below, or send your notice to our designated agent:
- [agent to be registered]
- [P.O. box to be opened]
- admin@alturaadmin.com
- [phone to be added]
What a notice needs
- Your signature (typing your full name counts).
- The work you say was copied.
- The clip, with its link, so we can find it.
- Your address, phone and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you're the owner or allowed to act for them.
What happens next
We take the clip down, tell the person who posted it, and count the notice against their account. We don't tell them your address or phone.
If your clip was taken down
If you think it was a mistake, use the counter-notice link in the email we sent you (sign in as the person who posted it). It needs your signature, the clip, your address and phone, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentified, and your consent to the federal court for your address. We send it to the person who complained, and put the clip back 10 to 14 business days later unless they tell us they've gone to court.
Repeat infringers
When we act on 3copyright notices against one account within 12 months, that account can't upload any more, and we may close it. A notice withdrawn after a counter-notice doesn't count. The artist's team sees each uploader's count.
